Vietnam is one of Asia’s fastest-growing economies. Its capital city, Ho Chi Minh City, serves as the economic center, driving the development of the nearby Long An Province. With its  geographical advantages, Long An has attracted numerous foreign investors to establish factories. However, the province’s low-lying terrain presents challenges like water accumulation during prolonged rainfall. To address this, the construction team deployed HCP PUMP HDG Series Submersible Slurry Dewatering Pump 80HDG22.2 to mitigate flooding at the construction site. The 2.2kW pump removes 0.5m³ of water per minute at a 13.5m head, ensuring rapid dewatering. The pump’s hardened FCD700 ductile cast iron agitator stirs settled sediment, while its high-chrome alloy steel impeller (HRC55-60) offers exceptional wear resistance in abrasive conditions. The team resumed work with minimal delay by quickly clearing floodwater, showcasing the reliability of HDG Series in challenging construction environments.
